Higanokami Zenkou extra large 120mm

Nagao Higonokami 120 mm Aogami Warikomi Brass is a traditional Japanese folding pocket knife (Higo no Kami) known for its simple, robust and highly reliable construction. It is handmade in Miki, Japan, in the Nagao Kanekoma workshop – the only remaining authentic maker that still produces original traditional Higonokami knives.

Construction and Features

• Steel: hand‑forged Aogami #2 (Blue Steel) san‑mai laminated blade

• Mechanism: friction folder without a classic lock; the chikiri (tang extension) allows one‑hand opening and stabilizes the blade during use

• Handle: full‑metal brass construction

• Handle length: approx. 120 mm

• Additional: lanyard hole at the end of the handle

• Craftsmanship: handmade in Miki City, Japan

Due to its non‑locking construction, the Higonokami requires more careful handling, but it offers the authentic feel of a traditional Japanese knife and exceptional sharpness thanks to its carbon steel blade.
